Tigerlily's Guide to Bali

Tigerlily's Guide to Bali

We here at Tigerlily are obsessed with all things travel and one of our all time favourite destinations is Bali, Indonesia. Known for it's amazing beaches, delicious food and awesome nightlife, we've been getting inspiration from Bali for years. Our team were lucky enough to get over recently for our latest campaign shoot and we were pleased to see that the Bali that we’ve always known and loved remains. The kindness and hospitality of the people is as lovely as ever, we fall in love with the place a little more on each visit. We thought we'd share with you some of our teams’ favourite spots to visit in our beloved Bali and hopefully inspire your next travel adventure to the island paradise that is Bali xx

Stay

W Hotel Bali Seminyak

One of the most beautiful luxury resorts in Bali there is a reason the W Hotel Bali is one of the most highly rated picks for accommodation on the island. We love that you can have your choice of room from a private villa with your own private pool to stunningly appointed hotel rooms with ocean views. This serene piece of paradise is located close to all the action of Seminyak which is why we love it. You can find us at the poolside bar in our Santa Rosa bikini, cocktail in hand.

We're obsessed with the lush pink tones of Villa Pinkaboo. Photo courtesy of @villapinkaboo.

Villa Pinkaboo

One of the most aesthetic Villa's on offer in Bali, this villa is all about the details. From the moment you walk in you are transported to another world, with lush tonal pinks, creams and natural fibres being key for the interior design of the space. You will want to take photos of every corner as no detail has been spared. You wouldn't look amiss in a stunning maxi dress sitting poolside with a cocktail in hand. You can test out your fabulous new bikini in the perfect setting.

Sundays Beach Club

One of the top beach club's in Bali for a reason, this place sits on one of the most gorgeous beaches in the whole of Bali - and that is saying a lot. The perfect spot for some people watching, whilst sitting under a beach umbrella all day. You won't need to change out of your bandeau bikini as the drinks are brought straight to you.

Potato Head

A must visit if you're in Bali. Potato Head has people talking for all the right reasons. Set right next to the beach, with multiple pools and restaurants to choose from, it's very easy to stay here for hours on end, especially as post nightfall the line-up of international DJs who spin here is worthy of a visit on their own. Dancing the night away in your new bikini is what being on holiday is all about.

Bodyworks Spa Bali

This luxurious spa has just newly and it was top of our list on our recent trip. The peach pink interior with splashes of bright blue and a stunning central courtyard and pool, we didn't want to leave. Offering a wide variety of services from manicures and pedicures to massages and facials this is the ultimate stop in relaxation for your trip to Bali. We loved our Sensatia Botanical Facial, which uses small batch skincare made from Balinese botanicals - it smelt simply divine!

Eat

Kynd community vegan food Bali

Kynd is known for their delicious vegan food. Photo courtesy of @kyndcommunity.

Kynd Community Bali

Vegan and community minded Kynd is one of the most popular eateries on the island. With their healthy, hearty vegan food it's the perfect spot to recharge after too many cocktails by the pool. The trendy interior design, with its luminous neon signs, bright pink walls and indoor-outdoor vibes is a must see. The food is what keeps everyone coming back however, and it doesn't disappoint. We recommend the Acai Bowl.

See

You don't come all the way to Bali without wanting to see the sights that make it so special. Ulun Danu Bratan Temple is one such sight that you simply can not miss. Situated on the shores of Lake Beratan, you will be mesmorised by it's tranquil beauty.

Tegalalang Rice Terrace Ubud

Simply stunning, the rice terraces are a must see.

Another stunning sight in Bali are the rice terraces of Ubud. There is something so beautiful about seeing the lush green hillside, with the curved formations of rice paddies built in as far as the eye can see.
